We are going to do various things that help the children of in Dunkirk. Our plans have had to become quite flexible as things changed in Calais and Dunkirk. We are very grateful that you have adapted with us.

Connor is going to fix the donated bikes and show kids how to do basic maintenance for themselves.

Karen’s school (Millburn Academy )raised £1034 for the Hummingbird project which is building a much needed school in the Grand Synthe camp. She is volunteering with Maktab and ABC.

Joni off to do what she does best…..use art as therapy and she is taking the laundry wands to Calais to see if it can be used in the new secret camps.

The camp is so big that kids have space to finally be free. People have donated 54 bikes but they need repair. Connor is off to do just that. He needs inner tubes, tools, tires, cable, oil….anything not used by him will be used by the kids he teaches to maintain their own bikes. I am going to show them how to make giant bubbles and sock puppets among other things.
