How do I create a project?
This is a screen video that explains how to do it:
What rewards should you offer?
Try to inspire people to make contributions by offering tangible rewards – products, benefits, and experiences. Ideally these rewards should come directly out of what you are campaigning for.
Examples; if you are raising money for a farm, offer food. If you raise money for an art project offer a painting, if you try to raise money for a PDC, offer to do the contributor’s garden.
My idea only requires a tiny amount of funding. Can I do that on Earth Ways Crowdfunding Platform?
No problem! We welcome projects that are working to raise anything from £100 onwards.
We welcome any size of project.
Can I ask for loans?
No. We practise traditional fundraising, where a person gives money with only the rewards in return.
Immediately deliver funds or 100% threshold?
If your project depends on all the funding to succeed, please choose the 100% option. It might help people to donate or help you spread it further.
How do I know if the campaign will do what it promises?
These campaigns are largely built upon trust. Earth Ways cannot take responsibility for the correct use of the funds. Only give money to people or projects that you feel you can trust. We ask for proof of completion of the project out of courtesy, and that people proof their identity before allowing the project to use our site. But we cannot take responsibility or enforce anything. Only give money to people or projects that you feel you can trust. We cannot take any other responsibility or enforce anything.
Why do you ask me to proof my identity before approving my campaign?
We want to make sure that you are who you say are. To increase the trust from your donors that you are a genuinely good project.
Does Earth Ways Crowdfunding Platform take a % of the funds raised?
No we do not. We are entirely funded through donations. You will receive any funds paid directly from the contributor to your account. It will not pass through our website or accounts. You will have to pay for any transfer costs. This is usually deducted from the amount the contributor pays before it reaches your account. Take these amount into account when calculating your total amount you want to raise.
If you would like to give us a donation that is hugely appreciated.
Does Earth Ways take some percentage of ownership or intellectual property of things made through the fundraising platform?
No. Absolutely not. Campaign creators keep full ownership of their work.

Who can create a campaign?
Earth Ways Crowdfunding Platform is an international platform, so anyone with a bank account and who can proof their identity, can start a campaign. We do not however, for legal reasons, allow campaigns from countries or organisations on the U.K. sanctions or embargo lists. Also, some of the payment providers may have their own restrictions concerning which countries they can work with. We are sorry if this excludes you.
I have chosen the all or nothing option, what if I don’t reach my funding goal?
If you choose an all-or-nothing option, you must meet your goal to receive any of the funded money. If your campaign does not reach its funding goal, the pledges from the contributors are not collected. There are no costs associated with this. You are then welcome to post another campaign, but it is not recommended to try the same campaign again, as contributors are less likely to give a second time.
Payments are either immediately deposited directly in the project co-ordinator’s account or held in escrow by the payment processor until the project is 100% funded. Immediate payments are only available to projects for which that makes sense. If the campaign is successful, the contributions will then be sent to the campaign creator. If the campaign is not successful, your contribution will be refunded in full.
Can I contribute to my own campaign to make sure it makes the funding goal?
No. You cannot contribute to your own campaign, because this is restricted by law. If you want to use this strategy to help achieve your goal, you must find someone else.
Remember, if you meet your goal, you are in contract to complete the project that you campaigned for. We ask you to provide evidence that you did so that we can display on the website. Pictures, video, testimonies are all acceptable. We cannot enforce this, but out of courtesy to your sponsors, we ask you to do so.

How do I change my campaign page after it is live?
You can’t. Once you submit a campaign, it is no longer possible to change your campaign. This policy is in place to protect the contributors, who once giving to a campaign want to feel sure that it isn’t going to change. If you do have a small change that does not significantly change your campaign, please contact us through the “contact us” form on top of the page and we will do our best to make the changes for you.
